Shaffer Ford is excited to announce the savings to all of these important organizations in our area! The Ford Partner Recognition Program X-Plan incentive program that was currently available to members of Shriners affiliates has now been expanded to include the following local companies and their employees: Here is a link to the list I use for Partner Company information: I have no idea how up to date the list is.Here's some great news from the Ford Motor Company for We left for the weekend yesterday morning, right after my previous post, and I was not able to access a computer until returning home tonight. :wavey: Sorry I did not get back to you sooner. Also I am going by the list on that Pierre FOrd site does anyone have a list they can post of the current ford partner companies and see if this impression I have is still true? The confusion inset because typically the ford partner companies are just that companies (Bestbuy, BP, Conoco Phillips, etc) but on that same list they show Municipal Enterprises & Public Service Electric & Gas Companies so it was a bit unclear whether that meant every one of those Municipal Entities or Public Service Electric & Gas Companies is eligible. Oh no I understand how the acquisition of the partner code works, I was talking with the people at the Ford X-PLan number not the dealer. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. I hope it at least makes the process a bit clearer. I am not sure if this information answers your question or not. Until then, we are all spinning our wheels. So your HR rep needs to do his job, contact Ford and get your company's Ford Partner code. Once on the website, the employee can register for an X-Plan PIN, access X-Plan rules and information (like the information I have been giving you), browse Dealer inventory, etc etc.īottom line is, without that Ford Partner Code for your company, you can not get a PIN. Once the Employee has his company's Ford Partner Code, the employee then goes to the website, and inputs that code to acess the website. Ford Partner Company Employees (such as yourself if your company qualifies) get that code from their HR or Personnel Departments (if their HR/Personnel dept staff know how to do their jobs correctly). It works like this: If you are an employee of a Ford Partner Company, your company has a Ford Partner Code. The Dealer can do nothing as far as getting you a PIN, or assisting you in acquiring one. So it does not matter if your company is on the list and the Dealer knows it or not. I will try to explain: Dealers do not have any say in issuing a PIN. :wavey: It is hard for me to tell from your post, but I believe the problem may be that you do not quite understand how the acquisition of a Ford Partner PIN actually occurs. I worked for a public utility that is owned by the municipality so I thought it would be pretty clear that we belong under that criteria but many people say, "Well if you haven't been a partner before, you are probably not one." But I find that to be untrue. Yeah the thing that strikes me as a bit confusing is that under the eligible ford partner company lists ( this page may not be the law but it shows a list of companies and Pierre ford does a lot of X-plan deals) it shows Municipal Enterprises and Public Service Electric & Gas Companies and this is pretty much a blanket offer across the country as there are many Municipal owned companies across the nation and many public utilities. So bottom line is you need to keep the pressure on your HR Director to get that information. Ford Partner Company employees are allowed two X-Plan PINS per year.įord Partner Employees used to be able to register over the phone with Ford AXZ-Plan Headquarters, but that policy was changed recently. There, you would provide the proper information to allow you to register for an X-Plan PIN. Once you have that code, you can log onto the Ford Partner Company website. I do not know how long that process may take. If your company has never yet registered for Ford Partner Company Eligibility, they will need to do so now. :wavey: As it seems has already been done, you need to have your HR Director contact Ford and find out your Company's "Ford Partner Code" (assuming your company is eligible). I've heard that Ford is very picky about giving these out and I wanted to know if anyone has been through a similiar process or does anyone know if I have a good chance. We fit this description but our company has never had a partner code so I called the Ford people and had my HR manager email them at the to request one. No one at my company or with the city has any idea about this program. So I work for the public utility in Anchorage, Alaska and I see under Ford Partner companies Municipal Enterprises and Public Service Electric & Gas companies qualify.
